Join The Opera Buffs and The Opera League of Los Angeles for a special evening with Grammy Award-winning tenor Joshua Guerrero, an Opera Buffs alumnus whose remarkable career has taken him from Los Angeles to the world’s leading opera stages.

A graduate of UCLA and the Los Angeles Opera’s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program, Guerrero went on to win Second Prize in the prestigious Operalia Competition and receive a Richard Tucker Foundation Career Grant. Today, the Mexican-American tenor is celebrated internationally for his passionate performances at such houses as the Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House, Paris Opera, Teatro Real Madrid, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and LA Opera. He is also featured on the Grammy Award-winning recording of The Ghosts of Versailles.

This special homecoming celebrates an extraordinary artist and the journey from emerging singer to international opera star—and the Los Angeles community that helped nurture his early career.
